Day 1 + 2 + 3: London

We show you many of the popular sights, such as Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Find your bearings and relax in one of the many traditional pubs or lively cocktail bars.
Explore London on your own. We give you many tips how to spend your second and third day in London. Whether you want to go shopping on Oxford Street Street, visit elegant Kensington or take a boat ride to Royal Greenwich, the options are plentiful. And by now you have mastered public transport too.
Visit one of the many free to enter museums, catch great views from Sky Garden or discover London’s trendy East End. You won’t get bored, promised!
Day 4: York
After so much modern history we turn back time and visit medieval York. One of the most visited towns in England, York sums up Britain’s history dating back to the Romans. See the ancient city walls. Find out all about the city’s Viking past, and visit the stunning York Minster. Settle for a local ale in of the many pubs dating back to the 14th century in the Shambles, York’s medieval quarter.
Day 5 + 6: Edinburgh
Edinburgh, the Scottish capital is next. For many Edinburgh is the most atmospheric city on your Great Britain Train Journey. Visit the famous Edinburgh castle, the Old Town, the New Town and cool Leith.
Gothic architecture galore, cobbled streets, atmospheric and simply beautiful. You can see why JK Rowling found her inspiration here to start the Harry Potter series. Visit the Royal Mile and Princes Street, Edinburgh’s elegant shopping and eating out hubs. Take a walk to Dean Village, a stunningly pretty area within the city centre.
Discover its natural beauty by taking a walk up Arthur’s Seat and see the stunning coastline at Portobello Beach.
Day 7: Liverpool
Time to leave Scotland taking a scenic ride to swinging Liverpool.
The Beatles, Liverpool FC, marine history, modern art, landmarks and wonderful beaches. Go on a Beatles inspired walking tour to discover the city. Take a stadium tour at Anfield, the world renowned home of Liverpool FC. Relax on Crosby beach. Visit one of the stunning museums on the beautifully restored Albert Dock. The options are plentiful.

Then it’s time to head back to London and to say Good Bye.
