Day 2: Experience natural delights

Arthur’s Seat is a popular destination for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, offering several walking trails of varying difficulty levels that lead to the summit. The most popular route starts from the Holyrood Park car park and takes visitors through grassy slopes and rocky outcrops, offering stunning views along the way.

 

 

 

At the summit, visitors are rewarded with breath taking panoramic views, including landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyrood house, and the Firth of Forth. On a clear day, it’s possible to see as far southern Highlands!

After your descend visit Holyrood Palace. The official residence of the British monarch in Scotland is another Must-See. Explore the palace and its beautiful gardens and learn about its royal history.

Still got energy? Then head to beach! Yes the beach. Edinburgh’s Portobello Beach offers miles of sandy beach overlooking the North Sea. 

Day 3: Discover the New Town  

Start your day by climbing Calton Hill, located just a short walk from the city centre. Enjoy panoramic views of the city skyline and iconic landmarks like the National Monument and Nelson’s Monument.

Then head to the National Museum of Scotland, located in the heart of the city. Explore its diverse collections, covering everything from Scottish history to natural history.
