Day 1: Canterbury + Whitstable

Canterbury
Explore medieval Canterbury, home to breath-taking gothic architecture and landmark buildings such as the 11th century cathedral Canterbury Cathedral – The Mother Church of The Worldwide Anglican Communion (canterbury-cathedral.org) and the Buttermarket. Familiarise yourself on a fully guided or self-guided walking tour. Stroll the narrow-cobbled alleys and listen to tales from Canterbury’s rich past. You may also like to explore Canterbury by river boat. Picture yourself on a warm summer’s evening being paddled along the river Great Stour against the backdrop of the facades of the old town.
Whitstable
Then it’s time to head to the seaside. Pretty Whitstable with its pastel painted beach huts has established itself as the place to be for art lovers and foodies. Tuck in some freshly caught oysters which you can buy straight from the boat or spoil yourself with delicious seafood in one of the many gastro pubs. Soak up the atmosphere with a glass of locally produced wine and enjoy great sea views from the pebbled beach.
Day 2: Leeds Castle + Royal Tunbrigde Wells
Take a step back in time and be fascinated by some of the finest castles in England.
Leeds Castle
After a fine breakfast we take you to the glorious Leeds Castle. Leeds Castle in Kent | The Loveliest Castle in the World (leeds-castle.com). A more than 900-year-old Norman castle built on an island in the river Len. Did you know that its name comes from the neighbouring village Leeds and has nothing to do with the slightly bigger namesake in Yorkshire? Imagine walking the grounds and award-winning gardens of this stunning site which is often named on “Most beautiful castles in the world” lists.
Royal Tunbridge Wells
Next stop is the elegant spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. A popular holiday spot for royalty and aristocracy for more than 400 years. It can’t be amiss on your tailor-made journey. Day 3: Margate + Broadstairs
No frights on your next day but another trip back in time and some glorious nature.
Margate
We stop over at the stunning beach site location at Reculver before taking the short drive to Margate. One of Britain’s iconic seaside resorts. Retro chic in this revamped holiday destination which has developed into an artist and hipster magnet. In fact, so much that it is is nowadays referred to as Shoreditch on Sea.
Full of attractions such as the Turner Contemporary gallery Turner Contemporary, the traditional Old Kent Market, or the revamped Dreamland The Vintage Theme Park Extravaganza | Dreamland Margate nostalgic theme park. Explore this creative and buzzing with energy place at your own pace and in your own time.
Broadstairs
Did you know that Kent has more Blue Flag beaches than any other county in the UK? Take a walk along the Viking Coastal trail Viking Coastal Trail, Kent | The Outdoor Guide, one of Britain’s finest walking routes. Walk up and down the cliffs and alongside the beautiful coastline with its dramatic views. Pass Viking Bay and Botany Bay before you reach Broadstairs. One of the best beach destinations in Britain.

Day 4: Faversham + Cliffs of Dover
Market shopping for the loved ones and the landmark of Kent
Faversham

Dover
Then we cross Kent which gives you the chance to gasp at the amazing open landscapes before we arrive in Dover. Take the easy cliffs walk to the iconic landmark of Britain, the Cliffs of Dover. Let your mind wander with amazing views over the English Channel.
